Reviving the Past: Therapist reacts to “Dead Memories” by Slipknot

Therapist interprets Slipknot's "Dead Memories", offering insights on living with painful memories and how to use them to better ourselves while accepting the emotional struggle that comes with it.

Dealing with memories that change a person forever is tough and something that we can all relate to. Remembering the pain is hard because it reminds us of what we've lost and how we've changed because of it. Instead of feeling like we can't make it, what if we ask ourselves, "How could I survive with these dead memories in my heart?"

Maybe the answer is to bring back those memories and make them feel alive again. When we give life to memories, they have the chance to change and be in a less painful space. Memories don't have to stay stuck inside us; they can be set free and alive.
